SABIS® PPP School in Kurdistan Welcomes Noteworthy Guest

On April 21, 2010, Sardam International School welcomed the Duhok regional head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Mr. Sarbast Lazgin. An important political figure of Duhok, Mr. Lazgin, who was accompanied by his KDP colleagues and an official from Duhok’s Education Directorate, was warmly welcomed by the school’s administration and staff.

First KG fun days at Sardam

The first year of Sardam has had many wonderful moments, such as the KG fun days. On Saturday April 10th the KG1 Fun day took place and the following Saturday, April 17th, the KG2 Fun day took place on the school premises in Duhok. Parents were invited to cheer for the students as they competed in fun activities.

Teacher Training Begins in Preperation for The New PPP School in Duhok, Kurdistan

September 2008 saw the first SABIS® PPP (Public-Private Partnership) project take place in Erbil, Kurdistan.  Due to the success of this school and the demand for high-quality education in the Duhok region, another agreement with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) will open a similar PPP school for the upcoming 2009 academic year.

Sardam International School Officially Opens

Following the success of the first SABIS®-PPP School, the Kurdistan Regional Government and SABIS® Educational Services have teamed up to open a second PPP school in the northern city of Duhok. The school, called Sardam International School, will operate in a newly-built campus donated by the United States.
